Kingfisher Seen!

After a spell of warmer weather, the last couple of days have been slightly cooler with showers. Despite this, Spring is edging ever closer and today I spotted my first summer migrant, a Chiffchaff. Woodland birds were in abundance today with regular sightings of Great Tit, Robin, Blue Tit, Coal tit and Nuthatch.
Down at the lodge where the Dam meets the river Yarrow, I caught a fantastic view of a kingfisher. It flew along the river under the road bridge and around the bend. This is my second Kingfisher sighting in the same area over the last couple of weeks, so it appears to be a favoured spot.
